Saw this video over at Assymetrical Information:
McArdle concludes with: "This did not, however, stop me from lusting after the MacBook Air I saw yesterday."
And that is the amazing thing about Apple's public perception. Even knowing what I do about the technical aspects of their products, even knowing that they all too regularly sacrifice function for form, even after the generally underwhelming reaction I have had to my current MacBook (which is good, but not much beyond that), I still get insane gadget lust for their pretty new things.
